Pod2Photo doesn't see my iPod photos

just purchased and loaded Pod2Photo...it shows my 4th Gen 60Gb iPod, but shows nothing in "photo folders" and nothing showing in "available photos."
I have about 100 photos on the iPod.

any suggestions on how to troubleshoot this?

I am connected through firewire port on laptop using WinXp service pack 3.
